Spain compliance
Registro de jornada for construction, without the paper
Since 2019 every employer in Spain must keep a daily record of each worker's hours and hold it for four years. On a building site that usually means a clipboard nobody trusts. Obrelier replaces it with a record that is made by the worker, verified on site, and ready when the inspector asks.
A daily record per worker, made by the worker
Start and end of each day come from the worker's own clock-in and clock-out in the app, not from a foreman's memory at the end of the week. When a manager closes a shift for a worker, the record shows who closed it and why.
Kept for four years
Records are retained for the legal period and cannot be quietly edited away. Workers can see their own hours in the app at any time, which is also part of the rule.
Ready for an inspection or an auditor
Export any period per site or per worker as a spreadsheet. The same data feeds payroll, so there is one version of the truth, not a record for the inspector and another for the gestoría.
Consent handled properly
If you use face verification, consent is recorded per worker, can be withdrawn in one tap, and a non-biometric alternative is always available. Your DPO gets a processor agreement.
Make the record reliable
Thirty minutes on a real job: who is on site, what is running low, and what the office sees. Pick a slot that suits you.
FAQ
Does this satisfy the Spanish rule on its own?
It gives you the daily records, the retention and worker access the rule asks for. Your legal obligations as employer remain yours; we make the record reliable and easy to produce.
Can workers dispute a record?
Yes. Workers see every clock-in and clock-out in the app, see their hours on each payslip, and can download their whole record. If something is wrong, they raise it with their manager.
What about subcontractors?
Each company keeps its own records in its own account. Bringing a subcontractor's crew onto your site is planned; tell us if you need it.
